The BMW 6-Series convertible was recently launched in India. The BMW 650i Convertible is priced at Rs 95 lakh ex-showroom. Now, there are reports of a four-wheel drive version of the 6-Series which could be in the making. If at all the all-wheel drive version comes to India, the price will be nudging eight figures for sure.
According to reports published by Motor Authority, the new 6-Series will also get all LED headlights. The Coupe version will be put into production first followed by the convertible. Will BMW India offer the new car to Indian buyers is not yet confirmed. We will keep updating this space once we get hold of more information.
The BMW 650i in India comes with a 4.4 liter, twin-turbo V8 with 407 horsepower on tap. The massive powerplant is coupled to a 8-speed automatic transmission. Secondly, BMW has confirmed a similar all-wheel-drive system in the upcoming M5. This comes as BMW will be offering 4WD in all its M-cars from 2012.
